Scholarly Communication

Advances in technology have changed the nature of scholarly communication.  The effective acquisition, management and dissemination of knowledge in the eResearch environment will improve research outcomes.

Scholarly Publishing

The Library has created a Scholarly Publishing Libguide which provides advice on choosing an appropriate journal, high-impact publishing and open access publishing.

Research Impact

The Library provides Research Impact workshops and advises researchers on the use of bibliometrics and data that can highlight the impact of publications and research outputs. Our Research Impact Libguide provides further details.

ACQUIRE

ACQUIRE is the CQUniversity digital repository of publications, allowing staff and students to make their publications widely available on the Web, which can improve citation counts. The Library’s Open Access libguide provides more information about the benefits of making your research open access.

Creative Commons for Researchers

Creative Commons Australia provides information about making research materials available by adding Creative Commons licences.

Copyright Guide

The CQUniversity provides advice on a range of copyright issues related to research activities. The Copyright @ CQUniversity website provides more information.

EndNote

CQUniversity provides a licence to this software which allows researchers to record, organise, and use references found when searching literature for information. Our EndNote Libguide provides information about how to download the program, and tutorials on how to use it effectively.
